The way that the camera tracks the pair emerging from Danny's room and continuing to the living room is curious as it skews the relationship of that hall with the remainder of the apartment.
In this scene, he's actively encouraged by Wendy to enter the dialogue. Hinting at what will happen serves multiple purposes (such as building tension and suspense). On this duplicitous and confusing note, Kubrick chooses to end "The Interview" section. Some claim that it would have been characteristic of the director to individually prepare each page.
